Fourth Wall 7-28-15

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Fourth Wall.”

You get to spend a day inside your favorite movie. Tell us which one it is — and what happens to you while you’re there.

Oh, this would be bad. My favorite movie is any and all of the Jurassic Park films. I am partial to the original movie, but after seeing Jurassic World, and seeing my celebrity crush as one of the lead actors, I have become quite fond of JW.

As always, we as humans can’t leave “life” alone so somehow, after everything that had happened on the islands, we have a lab on the mainland where we continue to “research” and “build” dinosaurs to be used not only as theme park attractions, but also as weapons and even possibly as pets! (What could possibly go wrong?!). I would be a reporter on the hunt for the truth of what Ingen is currently working on and to uncover the truth and the danger, not knowing that the lab contains juvenile dinosaurs of all extinct dinosaur species as well as mutations of present day reptile species.

Naturally, I gain access to the lab through a devious plan of stealing and donning a pristine white lab coat and acquiring a badge, but because I am full of curiosity, I accidentally touch some bug red button that releases the dinos from their enclosures and now have full reign of the facility. People get eaten and it becomes apparent, as always after the fact, that this whole practice was a bad idea. The people who are still alive, including myself I might add, try to reach the outside world to help with the catastrophe, but, of course, we created smart dinosaurs and lizard hybrids that attacked the power grid preventing us from reaching out and communicating with everyone.

The goal becomes for the survivors to leave the facility before the military blows the place to smithereens and send the dinos back to the extinct species list!
